Happy Birthday, Tiger!

Has it been 20 years already??? It seems like only yesterday that we were welcoming a new addition to our family...a dark eyed, bald baby boy named Tyler William, nicknamed by his great grand-father Syme, "Tiger Bill." I remember being disappointed at my ultrasound appointment at Christmas because I wanted a girl but I would not trade Tyler for any girl in the world. What an amazing man he is! His sense of humor is priceless and keeps things lively at home. He is generous, compassionate, smart and a blessing in my life. Tyler says that nothing good happens on his birthday. I guess because we have a history on unfortunate incidents occurring on his birthday but I beg to differ. Tyler has been and always will be the best thing that happened on February 26th. His dad and I are so proud of the man he is becoming and the decisions that he is making in his life. Happy Birthday, Tyler!!

Mid-life Crisis....perhaps

I think I may be having a mid-life crisis. I have always worn the sedate pumps...brown, black, white or cream so I decided to go out on a limb and today I bought a pair of red pumps. I have always wanted a pair. I love them!!! I can't wait to wear them.

Spring???

As I type this new entry another winter storm is headed for the valley. I don't know about anyone else but I am getting sick and tired of the snow and cold. I am tired of scraping my windows at 5:30 am so I can go to work, tired of shoveling the walks and driveways, tired of stupid drivers that can't drive in the snow and tired of worrying about the boys driving in the snow. I am so ready for spring. I can honestly say that I am really ready for the hot summer. I could really enjoy some 90 degrees right now...laying by the pool, soaking up the sun, just like a lizard. I get to this point in the winter and it seems like spring will never come. I know it will but it seems like it is taking forever.
